Ratcliffe-on-Soar is one of the most efficient coal-fired power stations in the UK with a total generation capacity of 2,000 MW. The scope of the project was to provide 4 Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) Plant that ensure 92% of sulphur dioxide is safely removed before gases are released into the atmosphere.
