Opening in 1962, Bradwell was the second commercial Magnox nuclear power station in the UK. It was decommissioned in 2002.
The two reactors are now encased in a safe, durable, weatherproof envelope to allow radiation levels to reduce over the next 65 years before the reactors are finally dismantled.
William Hare engineered, fabricated and installed the large, complex steel frames required to support the encasement envelopes.
