We are thrilled to be continuing our net zero journey which started in 2010. Since then, we’ve made some significant improvements with regards to our Scope 1,2 and 3 targets and over the next five years we’ll be making further improvements including implementing energy reduction initiatives and the self-generation of renewable energy.

Since 2010, we have:

• Upgraded our facilities’ LED lighting
• Introduced hybrid fleet vehicles
• Complied with ESOS Phases 1, 2 and 3
• Upgraded invertors to reduce energy use
• Improved leak detection

As a result, by 2021 we had:

• Become the first structural steelwork business to achieve Carbon Zero Certification (Scope 1 & 2)
• Achieved a 49% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions
• Received 10+ Years Platinum Certification for ongoing carbon reductions
